The authors introduce themeselves:
«We are Monica, Silvia and Anna: 3 Italian women & foodies who live in Bologna, London and Detroit. Despite the distance, our friendship has grown stronger thanks to food and being foodies, so a couple of years ago we founded our food blog. Our daily chats and our friendship are the inspiration for our food-blog Tortellini&CO. Every day we speak of, write on, photograph and cook food. Every day we learn something new about our own food culture and, at the same time, we have the opportunity to discover different national cuisines. Powered by our pen-friend chats and tips and motivated by the goal of sharing our passion for food, has come also the idea of Kitchen Notes».
About the recipes-book:
The book collects over 40 illustrations and over 60 recipes!
The authors explain: «Kitchen Notes recipes are accessible, versatile, easy to make and, often, farm-to-table recipes. Perfect both for the every-day and for the table feast! Our recipes are grouped in eight different sections based on occasions we love like breakfast, brunch, tea time, picnic, aperitivo, chic and cheap, feast table….and one central very special chapter: Cooking with Nonna, where you’ll find how to make, cook and serve genuine and original pasta fresca.»
Then they add: «We like to think that each of those illustration can be framed and hanged in our kitchens, our homes or offices. For this reason we created the collection of illustration cards, that can be purchased separately and can be used as recipe card as well as a picture to be framed. Some illustrations are in black and white and will become kids and grown ups favorite colouring entertainment! You will also find white pages for your notes, doodles and drawings.»
Join the campaign to support this nice project: Kitchen Notes and the illustrated recipe cards will be delivered in fall 2018, in perfect time for Christmas!
