The history of wine is deeply rooted in Rovescala, there are many vineyards here that are over 100 years old, producing a truly excellent wine.
The Oltrepò Pavese area was created for winemaking! They make sparkling white, as well as red wines: Bonarda, Pinot Noir, Barbera, Riesling, Buttafuoco, Sangue di Giuda and Muscatel.
Why is this place so special? It depends on the right soil and climate, it is on the 45th parallel, the line credited with having the largest number of centres of wine production in the world!
