Slow tour on a vintage steam train

That is a unique slow tour in Veneto, on a very special train: from Bassano del Grappa to Thiene on a special steam train for tourists, dating from the 1920s! How weird, it’s like a dream!

The association “La carrozza pazza” (The mad coach) runs it every year, two or three times during the colder and mid-seasons, in autumn. These vintage touristic trains take regional routes, travelling along particular lines.

Some kind of local Orient Express, where tourists travel very slow, sometimes the train stops and they go visit places, have a picnic, enjoy their time.
