Venetour: Slow Tour in Veneto! A journey with Patrizio Roversi through some of the UNESCO sites in this historically and artistically rich region, where harmony between agriculture and architecture prevails, exploring places and landscapes of a region that is filled with monuments, history, culture, and above all, nature. Accompanying him are Sheean Hanlan, a tourist from the Bahamas who paints his emotions with watercolors, and Chef Hiro, a Japanese cuisine ambassador in Italy.
The tour’s stops take us first to the Palladian sites: Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel, the Ponte di Bassano del Grappa, and the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza. Then, we move toward the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene Prosecco Hills, recognized by UNESCO for their scenic beauty. We then head to the Dolomites in Cortina d’Ampezzo, discussing the ancient Ampezzo rules amid the grandeur of the mountains. The journey continues to Monte Grappa, a MAB biosphere reserve housing the Astego Vegetation Garden, a valuable collection of local biodiversity. Finally, we arrive in Padova‘s heart to visit the oldest botanical garden in the world, where history and nature are beautifully intertwined.
